Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at contactus@thistleandspear.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you. We have a 30-day limited return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

 

Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?

At this time, we don't offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts—we have one for every item listed on our store, in the product description section. Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabeled. If that’s the case, please let us know at contactus@thistleandspear.com within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund!

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Processing Times

All orders are made to order and typically take 2-5 days to process before shipping.

Please note: Processing times may be slightly longer during holidays, sales, or high-volume periods. HOLIDAY PROCESSING TIMES 2025: Orders must be received by December 11, 2025 for delivery by Christmas.

 

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

Thistle & Spear offers free shipping standard domestic shipping for most items, unless otherwise noted on the product. Shipping rates for other items are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.

Estimated delivery times (after processing):

  • Domestic (U.S.): 3-4 days after fulfillment

These timeframes are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or customs (for international orders).

 

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking information to update.

 

Wrong Address Policy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.

If an incorrect address is provided and the package is returned or lost, buyers are responsible for any reshipment costs.

 

Lost / Delayed Packages

Thistle & Spear is not responsible for carrier delays or packages marked as “delivered.”

If your package appears lost, please contact the carrier first. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us at contactus@thistleandspear.com.

 

International Shipping & Customs

Free shipping is only valid for domestic US standard shipping. International customers are responsible for any shipping charges, customs fees, taxes, or import duties required by their country.

Customs processing may cause delays beyond our control.
